Drought-Resistant Planting Plan For Georgia Landscapes

Check out the planting plan below for those who forget to set their alarms to water their plants. Each of the following plants is found naturally throughout Georgia and will handle the Atlanta heat. I’ve done my best to estimate how many caterpillars these plants will support. Put them in the ground and watch the living world do its thing.

The blurb on the image says the following:

“For the dog days of summer, each plant on this plan, especially once established, is considered drought-resistant. Using a spiral pattern, a common sight in nature, this design offers beauty and depth to any landscape.
The selected plants are native to Georgia, and most will support plenty of butterfly and moth larvae. Check the number next to each name in the legend to see how many caterpillars each plant supports.”
